In my last role I was responsible for the roll-out of a new philosophy around economic thinking and risk management within the EMEA region, which supports optimizing profit. I discovered my passion to help others in this area by regularly providing workshops.

20 years of experience
I have 20 years of experience within an international environment and developed a strategic view due to my background, with a Bachelor in International Business and Languages and the different roles that followed.
My career started in a purchasing role at a multinational, a next step was towards inside sales within a small company that provided me customer facing experience for the first time. 14 years ago I moved to an American multinational, where I worked within Customer Service for more than 10 years and afterwards made the step to finance.
Amongst others, I was Customer Service Manager – Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Europe for more than 6 years; responsible for an international team, consignment stock and processes and contracts related to consignment and other logistic service solutions.
Besides that, I was team leader for the Global VMI team, to align the process between the different regions.
Credit Risk Manager
My last move within this organisation, in which I worked for 14 years and had many opportunities to grow and develop myself, lead me to the finance department as Credit Risk Manager EMEA, specialization Risk Management and Economic Thinking.
I was the “go-to” person within the region and this lead to hosting workshops and presentations at seminars, in sales meetings and other get-togethers. Next to that I supported sales to grow the business and supported other departments in decision making around different logistic and operational topics.
I was part of a global team to optimize the global credit risk department, amongst which the set-up of a global shared service centre in India. During this project I was responsible for the development, communication and implementation of a Global Dispute Process. Integrating newly bought companies within our credit risk management process and our risk philosophy, and development of the risk department within the EMEA region was also part of my responsibilities.
The last few years I was part of the Operation Lead Team for the Dutch location.
